Talk about outkicking your coverage

David, an average looking (at best) guy, starts the series with a girl way out of his league. The second season is with Sky who is better looking than him and then at the end they insinuate that he ends up with the girl from Nebraska who is pretty cute.

And don't even get me started on Wheeler being with the girl with the eyebrows and the teeth.

David outkicked his coverage three times and Wheeler way outkicked his coverage. This must be some sort of fantasy for the writers to rewrite their college experience how they wished had gone rather than how it really went.

Decent show though. I felt shortchanged on season 3 since it was only 6 episodes and the other two were 10 episodes. But season 3 got too far away from Red Oaks anyway. I liked it best when it revolved around the country club. After all, the show is called Red Oaks, not David Gets a Job as a PA in New York City.

The hot girl/normal guy situation is prevalent throughout movies and television. Kevin James and Leah Remini spring to mind. As do most movies starring Adam Sandler (him with Jennifer Aniston stretched credibility so far, it permanently broke it).

And I didn't know season three was out. Thanks for the heads up.
