So many shows get the cars wrong. The show is mid 80s and they have a 1991 Mercedes-Benz in episode 3. That model of car was a new design in 1991 Assuming they have a team sorting the vehicles for filming this is pretty poor on their part.
shareThey also use a modern Jeep Wrangler instead of a CJ. You can tell by the center console and the roll cage. They should have had an 85 Jeep CJ if it were brand new. Round headlight Jeep CJs were made 76-86, square headlight YJs were 87-95, and then round headlight Jeeps again in 96-present.
shareI wouldn’t notice a detail like that, unless it was way off. But I did think they got Pul Reiser’s car make wrong. I don’t peg him for an American car type— even a ‘vette. A European sports car fits his character a lot better.
