How was this renewed?

Maybe it doesn't cost much to make and brings a certain audience to their website which leads them to purchase even more sci fi type stuff where if they didnt have new content sci fi like this those purchasers would have bought their scifi elsewhere.

It's rather shocking that an ostensible grown-up somewhere, someone in charge of such things, saw fit to drag this out beyond one season (the second in the can but as yet unreleased).

Season one comprised a perfectly fine story arc, which came to a logical conclusion. Why stretch that? Let it be ... for heaven's sake.
