Reviews at IMDb reveal a lot. It's a SJW movie.
shareI find SJW culture pretty nauseating and I didn't see anything in this movie that reflects pro SJW sentiment. If you think its because of the ALF, I would counter that there was no real clear winner between the ALF and Mirando. Just skirmish after skirmish. And all that stuff was just a backdrop to the real story, which was clearly about the girls friendship with the pig. Even she didn't give a shit about all the politics going on.

Hats off to the director for creating a movie that is an eye-opener to most people. the movie made me cry and a guilty for consuming meat from factory farms. what they showed in the movie is just the tip of the iceberg of what really goes on in slaughterhouses. they have delivered a powerful message about compassion, corporate greed and lies, activism, and animal rights. Though it is only a movie, it is not far from the truth. (as a side note, this got me thinking that somewhere right now, an animal is being slaughtered inhumanely).
I rated it 9/10 because I learned something from the movie that will benefit me and the animals surrounding me and 9/10 because disliked how Jake and Tilda performed in the movie - i don't know, something was off.
There's a difference between a movie review and the actual movie. People take away what they want from it. Like I said, SJW culture is extremely nauseating, but thats not what I took from the film. For me it was about a girl and her pig wanting to go back to the mountains to get away from all of that bullshit. The political backdrop of the film may be accurately reflecting what our culture is nowadays but it wasn't the focus of the movie.
There's a difference between SJW culture being a setting in the film and the movie as a whole being a pro SJW propaganda piece. So I would caution you not to make an overly reductive argument here. That's what SJW's do.
Okja brutally murders the little girl but then is killed by Glenn from the walking dead
