shareSad that they had to go this route. I might have been into the story if I wasn't pounded continually over the head with issues that women face. The filmmakers need to learn to be a little more subtle.

Meh. Aside from the little speech they give at the beginning and end of the movie about women making money, you could swap the genders of all the characters and the story would have unfolded more or less the same.
That said, the movie was pretty boring. There needed to be a murder and a cover up or something. Still, a movie with an agenda isn't a bad thing, but telling a boring story is.

No. Although I wasn't crazy about The Big Short, it at least had a good pace, some funny moments, and an alligator in a swimming pool.

Did you actually watch the movie? The women are all bitches to each other. And the main character loses her job to her subordinate who's a ladder climbing kunt.
Whatever you are, be a good one.
