Predictable story, Done with confident style.

The acting from the cast are uniformly excellent.
It is directed with competence and style.

But the story was done to death and it was simply so predictable.
There's no surprise, and it just slavishly follow all the rules established by its (much better) predecessors.

If this is something like your 1st to 20th film EVER, then you might say it was pretty good.
Otherwise, you might enjoy it more if you prepare a checklist of cliches and tick them off as the movie drags itself to the finishing line.
