Dean Ambrose acting.

Before I watched this movie I decided to check out what people were saying about it on the good old imdb. Alot of people were slating the man's acting saying it's terrible. Yes it nearly put me off. But no I decided to watch it and make up my own mind. I'm so glad I did because I really liked it a lot and I also thought Mr Ambrose did very well in the acting department. Not to mention the excellent Roger Cross and Lochlyn Munro. Good movie all in all.

He was fine. I think he can get better.

Ehh, I'm a fan of Ambrose but even I have to admit the acting was pretty terrible.

Roger Cross really carried the movie. Either the script was too tight and Ambrose didn't have enough room to let loose, or the director didn't give him enough takes to come up with his own stuff.

I was waiting for him to get comfortable in the role and let loose like Rowdy Roddy Piper did in They Live (amongst others) but it never happened.

I think Ambrose has potential -- possibly being closer to the likes of Bruce Willis than The Rock or Stallone -- but he needs a role where he can let his charisma shine through.

One thing that actually got me thinking was that it would be really cool if they made a spinoff movie based around The Shield. Three mercenaries hired to do some stuff... they get back stabbed and then hunt down their evil employer. I would love to see a movie like that.

I think Ambrose needs to work on handling his hardware, though.

I agree too. I thought his acting was pretty good for a non actor. As afar as the movie goes, it's not an amazing movie but if you go into it knowing that then it's a pretty decent movie. Sometimes you just gotta sit back and watch without being so critical
