Great

Really enjoying the driver, David Morrissey has been fantastic. Looking forward to finding out why their son walked out. Wonder how much cash Vince has accrued in that toolbox :)

Did I miss something? I've just finished it and I still don't know why the son left. Vince had obviously upset him because the daughter said so, or was she just being hurtful? But more than that I do not know.
I did enjoy it - everything Morrissey is in, he lends a touch of class to.

If it's a boy, do you think it will look like Rodney? It doesn't matter as long as it's healthy!

Yeah, it wasn't explained very well. The ending just left me disappointed. From what I gather his son ran away to be with that cult, but it was never explained why it was somehow Vince's fault. It's a shame because it was good up to the ending. I thought Vince might be killed on that last job they pulled. How on earth did Vince manage to escape from the cops in that sting at the end.

For me, like most BBC dramas these days - The Fall, Jonathan Creek, Ripper Street etc - it pretty much went downhill from the first episode. Very good premise but poorly executed and should have been so much more.

Only Ripper Street was vastly improved once the Beeb gave up ownership of it.

Vince escaped because, as his daughter's school project said, he is fantastic at DRIVING.
