Spoilers! Does Anna wind up dead?

Just curious, what do you think? It seems he gave her a poison? Or some drug that interacted with the alcohol and killed her by accident?

She seems to be breathing at the final scene. Also I don't believe Kostis would want to harm her in that way; being a doctor he certainly knows what he is doing, meaning he gave her some sort of anesthetic to kidnap her and make her his. If it's indeed a case killing her without wanting it then it kinda turns out to be a bad scene, don't you think?

The actor who plays Kostis is pretty versatile. He switched from lovable, identifiable forty-something (he probably is 42) to a potential serial killer-loser in less than 30 minutes. His obsession is totally unfounded. He knows this woman is visiting there to have a good time, but still goes after her "to be together forever". Very uncomfortable scenes like the one in which he arrives with beer and all of these beautiful young people ignore him, when 20 minutes ago were cheering every time he gave them booze or money.

Not a single character to like in this movie (maybe the little girl who waited for Dr. Kostis at the hospital).

It's totally founded. She rapes him at one point and leads him on endlessly, lying to him and cheating on him and totally taking advantage of his vulnerability. Like the MGTOWs says she is a succubus, and no doubt so are you. Unfortunately the succubus played with a dragon and got what was coming to her.

Your saying he turned into a "loser" makes you just as disgusting as the people on this island. He is a doctor. In what universe is that ever a "loser"? She took advantage of his weakest point, his need to be loved, raped him, and destroyed him and in so doing nearly got destroyed herself. Everyone on this island got what was coming to them for what they did to him. Even the pig with the motorcycle led him on.
