What is going on with the lights?

The movie starts with a good mood, the ambient of what could have been a great horror movie is there. The house is simple but it has what it is necessary for suspense: it's old, it's isolated and it's not connected to the electricity network. Starts with a great ambience then the mood starts to evaporate, along with the sympathy for the characters.

The lights in the photography get confusing at times: for example in the nightime scenes they are under a strong white light similar to the daytime light and it is hard to tell when it's happening the scene. I'm not an expert but I would have used a warmt light for artificial lights, specially at the night scenes. I think this mistake is what breaks the mood most of the times. Besides that, the photography is nice and enjoyable.

Script is simple and it leaves many things unanswered since the characters don't provide much information about themselves or what is going on or what happened there.

The biggest problem of this movie is it is to ambitious. It requires a great acting for making a movie this slow and with just 3 characters and one simple scenario. This movie doesn't have that great acting. At first you like them but half an hour in the movie and they start to become flat and with a lack of purpose.

Watch it if you don't know what to watch, but don't expect much.
