Kate and Donna story

"Kate" didn't allow her face to be shown and no real names of characters involved. That Donna was a real psycho who built quite a bomb in the end. Since "Donna" got blown up in the end, I wonder why the intended victim "kate" still won't reveal her identity?

reply

Yes, especially when they used Donna's brother's face not hidden. I want to know more about this case as I am in Minnesota (where "Donna" was from) but I cannot find anything anywhere. They did not even say the name of the town in Calif. or the date. (See also post below re: my house/my revenge)

Sounded to me like an actress reading a script. I don't even think that was the real "Kate".

Did you get the feeling Kate was at least, partially to blame for the escalation. I thought she was nuts for provoking Donna who was obviously psychotic. Especially the scene were she was filming Donna and then flipping out about Donna filming her. So bizarre and that part was apparently real since they had the actual tape which showed "Kate" still filming as Donna left. She certainly was not acting like someone who was afraid for her life. Not to mention her house was a rental and she stayed.

I would say my memory is not what it used to be. But I don't remember what my memory used to be.

Well remember she said even though she was dead she still feared a bomb placed under her car, or unbelievably, a sniper! I'm a little puzzled how a sniper is supposed to go after Kate when Donna is dead. Does she think Donna hired a hit crew on her?

That struck me as odd, too. But maybe she meant in a PTSD kind of way.

But where was her hubby? Why didn't he participate in the show, I wonder....maybe there is more to this story. I wish I could google it...

your welcome. i kept on searching for people names, dates, locations, details of what happen, that i heard on the show.

Well after using the link that was provided above, it led me to other sites about the incident and I ended up finding out who the neighbor was. Her name was actually Jill.

I don't understand why all this had to be kept secret on the show. With the internet, you can find anyone.

I found it odd too, it was like "Kate" wanted to tell her story, but also didn't want to be involved whatsoever.Particularly odd since in her case, the psycho neighbour was actually dead. It seemed like she had written out what she wanted to say, and they got a hidden actress to read it.
"Kate" definitely sounds like she's paranoid. She came across as someone who was driven to the edge by her neighbour, and even now that it's over, she can't completely get over the fear and paranoia.

I also found the filming argument strange. "How dare you film me while I'm filming you!!" type of thing. 

I'm watching this episode right now...strange. Kate seems to be reading pre-written lines, and it's like the audio is being dubbed over a person who is not actually talking. Most of these shows are a little two-sided but this one stands out to me as this Donna is clearly being blamed by everyone, more like a "stalker" episode. Cops blame Donna completely, etc...

Jill Menicucci was Kate. If you search under Ladonna the story will take you to who Kate was. There are links below as well to take you to the story.
