Why are the fight scenes so bad?

One of my biggest gripes about this movie is that they are ninjas, and I counted 1, yes, 1 kick. With CGI turtles, the fight scenes could be exactly like the 2003 Turtles cartoon. But instead, they don't even try to choreograph them.
