When you are rooting for the zombies to kill the cast it says it all.

"Plague" is the first film I watched in 2016, and I wished I could say it was a decent zombie movie, it seems I am always in search of one, but alas, this fails on all levels. In Australia a handful of survivors of a plague that has turned people into zombies find a place to stay. They wait for this chick's husband and when he doesn't show up they leave her alone. Not to give too much away, but much of this has to deal with a love triangle of sorts. One woman, two guys, end of the world kind of thing, it could get messy. This was overlong at 80 minutes. They spent needless time just talking about nothing and do very little. This was made on the cheap, the movie makers spent their own pesos on this and probably did the best that they could. None of the characters do you care about. One a weakling, another who is wanting the wife for himself, and the woman spends much of her scenes sobbing and screaming. Like, please, can the zombies just kill everyone and be done with it? * 1/2 out of 4 stars.
