crowd events stopped working!!

Has anyone else had a problem in game where their crowd events just cease to occur? It was working fine for me. I would get a lot of sporadic crowd events but then it just stopped happening. Anyone know why? Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Have you perhaps completed them all and gotten all rewards?

If not perhaps game needs the patch removed and reinstalled.

Most crowd events are happened on around the water I find, especially near the cafe.
