Assassin's Creed: Love/Hate

I love Assassin's Creed and have played most of them. They all have been beautiful, immersive, complex, and addictive, but there's also one thing they all have had- Absolutely, positively horrible, horrible controls. III was better than those that came before it in regards to controls, and IV was even better- the best controls by far of any Assassin's Creed game. Well, this game is a HUGE step back. First, the buttons are sluggish. Second, It's like every single surface no matter how little off the ground it is, is made out of those velcro hooks, and you're made out of that felt material that it sticks to. Seriously, if you're on the side of a building and a thief appears, good luck chasing him because no matter how hard you try, or what buttons you push, you're going to stick to at least 3 or 4 things before you finally make it to the ground. This game is gorgeous and huge and I want to love it, but I don't. If I were the artists on this game, man, I'd beat the crap out of whoever was responsible for the controls, because they don't belong in the videogame business.

I just learned how to use the "Spoiler" button...
