"Learn some science, people"???? OK the movie's awful but that comment is hilarious! Firstly, imagine if all movies stuck rigidly to reality and scientific fact. That'd be boring now wouldn't it!
Secondly, it's OK to view yourself as intelligent but if you need to come to the board for a film like this to declare it in quite such a patronising manner, there's something missing in your life. Some people like B movie nonsense

right on

i liked it - outside there is a first snow in 2016,
i liked it because of the mood outside, not because i wanted to learn something - i'd watch discovery channel.

there are nice shots of pyramids
and i don't care for special effects being good or bad - it looked fine to me.

I saw an "age of" -movie from Asylum. "Age of Dinosaur". It was lightyears better than this crap. That's not much yet, but you didn't want to mayhem them people in the movie, and special effects were almost decent. If you got beer, I would even recommend it.
So, I considered watching this. And I did.
Unfortunately. This was just... the worst movie I ever saw.
This movie had one good thing: The idea. But it was utterly destroyed by the script.
