Well, I didn't hate it...
But much like another movie I saw recently, Netlfix's Spectral, a really interesting concept was squandered at the expense of mindless action. I quite liked the use of news reports as a framing device, and thought it was done in a rather convincing manner, especially when compared to other apocalypse based movies which use the same gimmick, and I really did admire the central idea of a morally corrupt company running a zombie hunting safari park, but it was just so unpolished and mind-numbing for the first two and a half acts. Until the "twist", I was bored out of my mind, by the performances, the cinematography, the writing, everything!
It *almost* had a glimmer of something very entertaining to it at times, and as much as I admire the effort that was very clearly put into it, it just never came together for me at all.
4/10
What'd you guys think of it overall?
