It wasn't a bad movie but...
The people are really stupid. They do not check their surroundings letting the Zs magically teleport right next to them. They also really need to learn how to close doors behind them.

And slow too. I loved how, when they had to get back to the base before the airstrike, that they first didnt have enough time, found a short cut, then just ambled along, stopping to talk, look at scenery, have an argument, then a Kumbaya session. if it were me, i woulda RUNNNNNN
shareAnd yet some of the characters do use their brains. The guy who arms himself with the pistol from the dashboard of the car when they're squeezing through the gap. How many times in films are you screaming at the screen at unarmed characters "pick the dead guys gun up, you idiot".
But then on the negative side..... You're on edge, you're as jumpy as hell and then a zombie grabs you're arm and you just stare as it takes a chunk out of you. People seem to react quicker to a wasp coming near them than they do to zombies. Yeah, I know. I'm using logic in a fantasy situation.
Solyent green are people? no wait! .... zombies are refugees! oh... there was a hint of Westworld too. Don't get me wrong. I liked the movie. I would rather get stranded on ReZort, than Jurasic Park.
Smoke me a kipper. I'll be back for breakfast
Making people overly stupid or careless so the zombies can be more of a threat than they would otherwise is a trope of zombie movies. It is particularly egregious in this movie.
