So when they arrive to the island at the airport thing, where the refugees are as well, was that not the same island as the Zombie park? I thought it was until the ending, when the drones of zombies are coming from the water, which I assume are from the park that fell in the water from chasing the girl at the end?
shareIt seems like it was the same park. They just seperated everything. The zombies coming from the water was the result of them jumping off the island assumingly from other sides, which we did not see. The movie was good but left alot of open ended assumptions as to what was happening on the island. Reminds me of the Video game Dead Island.
shareNo, it was a separate island from where the journalists were reporting. Recall that after the guests flew into the resorts airport, they were then taken by boat to the actual island where the zombies were located. So it was indeed a separate island from where the journalists were reporting, and that is why you see the zombies coming up from the ocean at the end.
The only thing that calls this into question is the scene where the 3 survivors stumble upon the Hope 4 U refugee triage, and they quickly figure out just what's been going on in order for the resort to continue..it looks as though it's the same place we saw at the beginning(this only further fueled once the child is seen)..but, IMO, no matter how confusing that scene may have made things seem, it's still a fact that the island where the zombies were hunted is separate from where the resorts airport was, and therefor separate from where the journalists were reporting from..
