One of Gary Oldman's finer later performances

He really gives a passionate performance as the scientist whose dream it is to start a colony on Mars, and later chases after Asa Buttefield because the latter's body won't be able to endure the stress of life on Earth. He really throws himself into the part, and it's much more impressive than recent parts he's had in such recent films as Criminal and the snoozefest Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

he sucked in this movie

No, sh-thead, he was fine.

No Binky, he actually did kinda suck. Easily ranks in the bottom third of his performances. I hope he at least got paid well and took an upfront fee instead of a percentage

Yes, Gumbi, you're a biased troll of this movie for no reason, we get it, the reason they're shutting down these boards in the first place. Well done.

I saw the movie in previews a year ago and thought it sucked, as did quite a few other audience members based on all the inappropriate laughter. It's my fault, I was tricked into seeing it based on the description, I thought it might be an unofficial adaptation of Stranger in a Strange Land. But nope, Nicholas Sparks for teen girls instead. How is that biased? It's my honest opinion based on viewing the movie. Seems you have the biased shill view since you worked on it and apparently gave Gary Oldman a handy. It's people like you who make me both glad and sad at the same time the boards are closing.
