Interesting film

I had never heard of this incident until watching the film, and was surprised that something like this could have been covered up for so long to protect political interests. The Irish soldiers showed true grit in braving the poorly planned attacks of the mercenaries who thought they could simply overwhelm them by force. In some ways it's a mirror of the Battle of Rourke's Drift and the heroics of the armed forces there.

I think something was lost by not going deeper into the political side of things, so the underhanded behaviour of the UN was put on a bigger display, but I suppose there are limitations on how much can be shown.

10/10 for me - an important part of military history.
