Conor Cruise O'Brien one of the most self absorbed attention seeking politco asshats you could come across. Ever focused on his own self aggrandisement and 'place in history' not above throwing others to the wolves, as shown here, or producing utter revisionist claptrap and turning his back on his own country if it came to getting glory for himself, 'proud Irishman' indeed.
