Black man serving in a white unit?
This was WW2 folks!! Blacks were segregated into all black units. It's extremely unlikely a Black Sgt would make into a white man's tank!!

He mentioned that he was in the 761st, which was an all-black Armored outfit that did serve in Europe during that time.
So, mark one up for historical accuracy.
