I'm catching up with the latest episodes, and in the one we watched yesterday they say it's not illegal to impersonate a medic, solicitor etc. in the UK. That kinda shocked me... I live in the UK but I've never heard about that sort of thing. It just sound crazy, I'm having a hard time believing it's perfectly within the bounds of law to deceive people by saying you're a doctor, nurse or a medic...
shareYeah, that was a great, "Wow, really?! Cool!" moment. It made us wonder how many unethical things have never been codified into law. For example, a couple of years ago, I was disgusted to learn that bestiality is perfectly legal in many U.S. states because those states never made laws about it. Here in California, for one.
Happily, most people don't need laws to be moral.
