should i try harder?

I tried to watch this film but it couldn't hold me for more than 5 minutes. Usually I would try a lot harder to stick it out a bit longer, but this ws a *beep* horrible mess and just painful and irritating to watch. Imagine somebody explaining a hallucinagenic visual trip-out music video filmclip to somebody else, who then goes home and, once sober, explains to their handicam wielding six year old what they need to make. The few minutes I managed to sit through just *beep* annoyed me.
My question is, have I made a mistake? Was ther some pay-off for sitting through longer? And did the film-makers spastic annoying attempts at seeming artistic keep on throughout the film? BEcause it it did carry on the way it started, I ain't touching it.

So, you took ten minutes to write an imdb question out, instead of watching for an additional ten minutes? I loved the film.. It's not for everybody I'm guessing, but I enjoy low budget, gore flicks..

reply

No, it's not artsy throughout the film..

haha didn't quite take ten minutes to type that question...but if you promise me that it settles a bit i might try again sometime, i;ll just have fastforward ready like the other bloke suggested... ;)

reply

not really. There isn't much of a story and any depth of characters. (expect main characters childhood flashbacks). If you like splatter effects, just watch it "gorehound" style skipping the "story" parts. Fast forward is there for you.

this might be the best option...

Do you like fücked up movies with a lot of blood, gore and skull fücking? Because it has all of those things in spades. I personally loved it, but I'm a big fan of extreme cinema, so it's really dependent on your tastes. I didn't really find it to be artsy, but it's been a little while since I watched it.
