Not happy

Not happy about the movie being made by a Iranian since majority of them are Shia..I was told that sects didnt exist back than but doesnt changed the fact that the movie is made by someone who puts Imam Ali before our Prophet Muhammad(SAV). The movie should have been made by Turkish film makers since the 90% of muslim community in Turkey are Sunni...And also the Prophet Muhammad is shown as a kid from the back and side view in the film trailer which i think is still blasphemy..

You should be happy Iran is not a place where shias hate sunnis and their ideas, you are mistaken my friend.there are some Iranians who are intolerant but not all of them.majid majidi's film is not a Shia film, secondly in my idea none of the scenes in the film was blasphemy,I think Muslims should be flexible to it.and I tell you something, if this movie was made by a sunni I am sure that shias would said it's very bad and blasphemous so it's not surprising that sunnis aren't happy.

I think it's a bit unfair to say something like this, it just insists on imaginary rivalry between Shia and Sunni where as they both believe in the same religion.
As for putting Imam Ali before The Holy Prophet, no one do this.
Hope you'll feel happiness about this soon, because now that after tons of anti_Islam movies someone has made a worthy and respectful film it's better to put difference aside and enjoy it.

wow Shi'ites don't put Ali before Muhammad, they put Ali over the Caliphate

for Shi'ites there is no caliphate to rule after Muhammad's death, it's the Prophet's family, i thought this was common knowledge in the Muslim world, but i guess now i know you guys are just as uneducated as people in America

If you are a muslim then you must be ignorant as fvck. You are probably a brainwashed sunni. Ofcourse shias don't put Ali before the prophet. That is just idiot middel-eastern wahabi propaganda. They don't recognize the first 3 caliphs, abu baker, usman and omar, after mohammad died. The shia/sunni split started out as a political rift and evolved into a religious issue. Also the blasphemy thing is relative...sunnis, most of the sects, believe that any visual depiction of mohammad is forbidden whereas the shias, most sects, do not find it blasphemic. They consider it blasphemy when that image is presented a negative manner.
And ofcourse this movie will be biased, just like every other movie about historical characters, and it will be from the shia perspective. There is no one true muslim interpretation and in the end both of you believe in ridiculous things.
