As much as I don't care for Gustavo, I hope it's not him. We would have to put up with a repeat of Jake dying and Brooke grieving for what are probably the last six episodes. I suppose it could be a way to have Brooke heavily involved in seeking out the killer, which would be nice, because I didn't like how she was sidelined from the main story in season two.
I really can't see the writers killing off Emma, Audrey, Brooke, or Noah, during the first episode. If a prominent character goes, I think that honor will go to Maggie, Ms. Lang, Acosta, Gina, or possibly Gustavo. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a completely new character, though. Characters like Audrey or Brooke getting fatal blows probably wouldn't happen until episode four or later.
All guesses, of course.
Is Gina really a main character though?

It hasn't been confirmed to be the last yet but the ratings are very low and it was only renewed for 6 episodes to probably just wrap the story. That would be awesome to get a fourth though! But I'm really hoping Season 3 has a timejump or if Season 4 does happen have somewhere between a 2 to 5 year time jump.
