Why the surname change?

Celeste and Perry's surname in the novel is White, but it has been changed to Wright? I'm reading it at the moment, and last night I got to a part where Renata is gushing over Perry to Celeste and says she didn't know that he was "the Perry White!" I got a little confused since I had read the cast list on here and distinctly remember reading Wright, and Celeste didn't correct her.

It isn't a big issue, but it was just something I noticed. :)

My guess would be because of the Perry White/Superman connection. I was momentarily taken out of the story when I read that line in the book...

Maybe... I thought Perry White seemed a little familiar when I read it :)
