This is not bad

Compared to other new Scooby movies, it's an improvement.
Even though Frankencreepy involves the Internet generation, it still holds on to the original creepiness and doesn't get too politically correct.
As a loyal fan of Scooby, I recommend this one.

I don't know. This one sounds like one of those Scooby outings without masked monsters, and those never tend to be as good.

I was sort of offended by this one...I think the fact that Daphne isn't a size 2 was played up way too much with too much emphasis on that she wasn't pretty anymore because of her size..

Daphne was the only one who thought she looked bad; Fred had that sweet and adorable line saying, "Gee, I didn't even notice. You always look great to me!".

I really liked the movie. Had a lot of humor and some great touches from the original show.

I don't know about in comparison to the other new ones. I've felt they've been stellar since Big Top. I enjoy that after suffering through Mystery Incorporated they've made movies with more odes to the classics that don't feel like they were force fed to a small internet demographic.

The twist in this one, is something fans have thought about in fanfiction for decades. To actually give it the chance is a great choice.

And then as with the others taking shots at the previous tv incarnation seems to be in full effect. Making a credit gag just to seemingly silence those critics with a classic gag is a humorous way to handle it.

I'm sold with whatever direct to dvd features Warner makes on older properties. While they may not stack up in the long history, this is what i want over what CN has and is doing with their versions of the franchise.

me and the kids liked this one. we stumbled on it the other day while watching tv. i am thinking we might need to find a dvd of this for repeat viewings.

it was definitely better than the other movies we've seen.

It has a very different approach and a ton of material, quick references, etc. that would go way over a lot of persons' heads (including kids, of course), but I thought this one was excellent and very funny.

However, pretty much ALL of the recent Scooby films, starting with 1998's Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, have been excellent in my opinion. There were a couple slightly weaker ones since then, but just a couple in my opinion.

Re what you're quoting, it's a bunch of realism complaints . . . about a Scooby-Doo movie. Not that I think realism complaints are ever justified, but when it's about a Scooby-Doo movie, especially one with the sense of humor, sense of play and bent towards absurdusm/surrealism of this film, it seems particularly ridiculous.
