Young love is fickle. I wondered also, and felt SO sad for Owen. After being a couple for 3 years, I assumed it would end with marriage. I have a feeling another boy may have shown her some attention.

Yes I didn't get the whole sex thing. Seems like they should have taught him that as soon as he got a girlfriend...she could have ended up pregnant. I have a child with autism and there are books out there made specifically for people with autism about sex. Seems like a pretty basic thing to me. Even average young adults get "the talk" from their parents, especially about birth control and safe sex (STDs).
