I must admit, I only watched this movie because I'm a fan of Jonathan Patrick Moore, I've seen him in a few other movies, including The Mistle-tones which I loved! However, this particular movie in my opinion, was very very bad. The background music was awful, really awful and loud and her boyfriend in the movie was such an idiot, so much so that it made their relationship seem so silly. She supposedly spent 5 years with him, are you telling me she never noticed how egotistical and narcissistic he was.... sorry writers and producers but this movie sucked and the mom character was just as bad as her boyfriend! But I loved Jonathan Patrick Moore!!!

I thought it was just okay, but I can see how she missed the narcissism before. She was probably too in love with him initially, then after 5 years, she probably was used to it and didn't notice. It would take a year away from him to see him more clearly for what he is. It was enough time to get him out of her system and take off the rose-colored glasses.
