Season 2 who's in who's out?

Ned and Jesse ( Dan Speilman & Ashley Zuckerman) are definitely in, but what about Aden Young, Chelsie Preston-Crayford, Adele Perovic, Dan Wyllie, Steve Rogers, David Wenham?

I hope all of the above along with Lucy Lawless.

I hope so too! Also I think there would be new additional characters as there often are, and who the new characters are and played by?

Anthony Paglia guest stars, essentially, and becomes the central driving figure in the season with his plot that IS the story.

Sigrid Thornton plays a complex character, too, also central to the core plot. But it's weird to have had Paglia and Thornton in central roles that create the plot without Jess and Ben not being the central story anymore.

Those are two big names anyway.

Hani, her parents, Jess and Ben of course return. But I found Ben to be largely of inconsequence this year compared to the buddy brothers of last year going shoulder to shoulder in nearly every scene.

Paglia takes over this year as the Big Dog of the show, I thought. Ben really gets pushed a bit to the background as a player who just occasionally does something to drive the plot. To me anyway. Jess remained central. It felt more like the Jess and Roth (Pagilia's character) show this time. Hell, it WAS!

Ben's blonde girl from last year makes a couple of cameo appearances, but she's gone into the background now.

Much of the action takes place outside Australia, in New Guinea, as well. (Though it seems to be filmed in Australia as stand in for NG...not sure). So there are all kinds of additional characters making up an entire world in NG within the show that Ben and Jess deal with.

What I found different from last year is that while the brothers are still close and clash and argue over some of the same things, Jess is clearly now the star driving his own show with Paglia taking equal starring place with Ashley/Jess.

It was their show this year. Even Sigrid, while creating a great character and delivering her lines with real gravitas--for all her fame did not get a look in on the Paglila/Ashley team in terms of importance and screen time (with heavy duty dramatic emoting by Jess and Roth all the time.)

It's a different dynamic in total this year. Jess has matured a bit, even through the constant challenge of his issues.

But the government still seems to churn out heinous baddies around every corner. And there are those who like last year don't want to let them get away with it all.

Again, very anarchist in tone with some in government showing their rapacious greed and destructive power. And our Jess out to stop 'em! ha With Paglia and Zuckerman sucking the air out of every room they were in it was hard for our Ben to even be noticed most of the time.

Poor lad. An also ran in his own show...ha.
