Want more? Jump ahead a hundred years and watch Doctor Zhivago. Seriously. Its the closest thing to a second season of W&P you'll ever get.

Of course not. It's a mini series based on a book. The book has no sequel. The story has been told.

Season 2 would be a documentary of military and history theory because that's what Leo Tolstoy attached to the end of his novel War and Peace.

In most modern versions, that was actually throughout the book, not at the end. At least in my experience.

But yeah...a REAL 7 hour version of Anna Karenina and then Doctor Zhavago would indeed be three great ones. And for a prequel, miniseries as good as this one about Peter 1 the Great and Catherine 2 the Great.
