Why no love at the award shows?

It is a little disappointing that this production has gotten no love so far at the award shows. Only one Emmy nomination and unfortunately, even though the music was great, Martin Phipps lost in that category.

Can one expect more this upcoming award season especially the BAFTA's next year?

Just watched it and found it to be one of the greatest British adaptations of a literary classic, ever. Also surprised that it wasn't awarded more prizes. Paul Dano! What a performance. But judging from many of the negative reviews on IMDb, apparently a lot of people were not that into it, or genuinely disliked it. Go figure.
