Awards

Does anyone else find it weird that this has been almost forgotten as awards season begins

You know what you like and don't like and that's what really counts.

Sure. But this was better than the People versus OJ and several other movies and miniseries for TV I have seen this year and that were nominated. Lifetime and BBC did not push this enough.

It didn't win any U.S. awards because it was chopped up and truncated too much (an entire storyline was even cut!), plus the networks totally botched the airing and skipped episodes and such. Insane.

Meanwhile, the TV BAFTAs for this year will not be held until next year, as usual. The nominations haven't been announced either yet. The nominees for 2016 will be announced on 11 April 2017, and the ceremony will be 14 May 2017.

I think the only problem that may exist for the TV BAFTAs is that this aired so very very early in the year that it's not fresh in people's minds.
