Where's Tim Meadows
Tim Meadows and Chris Farley. They were very close and came up in Second City together. Was he just completely unavailable?
shareI really hope someone replies to this who knows why Tim Meadows wasn't in the film. I felt like every Second City clip - there he was. I kept waiting, and about 20 minutes in, realized he was never going to be interviewed. It made the film awkward.
shareI can only guess that he just prefers not talk about it. It just might be too painful. I was actually surprised to a degree that Spade showed up because he's said to really have a hard time talking about Chris. You can kinda see it in his interview segments. He really doesn't look very comfortable talking about it.

I heard Spade had a rough time for several years. I was surprised that he talked as much as he did. But then again, not really b/c they were a comedy duo so this documentary needed to have a lot of him.
The person that surprised me the most was Bob Saget. He looked absolutely heartbroken in every interview clip. I didn't realize they were that close.
I also didn't know how close Chris and Mike Meyers were. Some of Mike's stories were hilarious (especially the shower story) and how Chris was always trying to be in people's sketches b/c he wasn't a writer.
Meadows actually considered Farley a very close friend but it could be he was either very busy or not interested in talking about it. I'm sure everyone who was close to Chris felt they could have done more to help him.
