I really enjoyed this movie. And it's the kind of movie that I can put on and know that what I'm about to watch is good, wholesome, funny and romantic.
I loved every second. Eve, Regina and Jill (especially) looked great. They were so beautiful!
And don't get me started on Jason George! He is so talented and so fine!
Stephen Bishop is great as well.
I'm glad the cast was all-Black and it definitely takes the place of "27 Dresses" on my Rom-Com list. I loved the characters and their chemistry was great. And I will be watching again.!

I thought it was pretty good too! I was surprised! I never watch Lifetime movies, but decided to give it a chance because of the nearly all black cast. Of course, it was so predictable, but still a cute movie!

Exactly! I usually bypass the Lifetime movies that come on, but this one definitely caught my attention. It was sweet. I've watched it three times already. 😂

And, yes, it was slightly predictable. And I was hoping that Vivian and Sean would together, but I wasn't expecting it.

The movie wasn't that great in my opinion. There were too many things going; the plot wasn't cohesive. The chemistry between all of the actors wasn't there. The film skated between melodrama and comedy. I bet that wasn't their intention. Jill, who is truly beautiful and talented, was wasted here. It's tragic that she's doing roles like this. Plus her styling was a mess. She basically wore the same outfit in different colors. I know she's a bigger girl, but damn. She has a great figure and can pull off some nice fits. Plus her wig AGED her... Regina looked beautiful but I hated her character. She was a pain in the ass. However, she had decent chemistry with the Nate guy (who actually did a decent job in his role). Eve was blah at best. My sister thought Gabielle did a decent job. But she's constantly typecasted. Lucky she married well.
3/10
