While I have not seen The Love Witch yet (but definitely looking forward to it!)... Another movie with a similar vibe/possibly being referenced is the 1976 cult obscurity The Witch Who Came From The Sea.
Similar colorful, sun-tripped visual style, kills and story beats. The main character (the "witch") even sounds alike.
It's a bizarre, dreamy little cult horror flick with an excellent, deadpan lead performance.
Also worth checking are the various, colorful Euro-trash lesbian vampire movies. Obviously Vampyros Lesbos (awesome soundtrack too!), and others by Jess Franco and Jean Rollin.

Anna Biller has been pretty adamant in interviews when people ask her about her influence, and insists that the movie isn't inspired by or meant to be an homage to anything other than burlesque culture. I don't know if she's a savant who accidentally crafted a perfect 70s homage or if she's just trying to drum up controversy for attention.
I think also, Hammer's The Virgin Witch, 1970.
