I'm a bit older than you, but it reminds me a bit of an old US TV series called living Doll'.
Also Calimov Systems name probably has some relevance to the SF author Isacc Asimov ???
It's just started here in Australia & I'm only half way through the 2nd episode.....
The Calimov name is a homage to Isaac Asimov, creator of the 3 laws of robotics and Dr. Susan Calvin, on eof the main characters in his books. Dr Katherine Calvin is also a character in Eve. A lot of Asimov fans on this show.
