Graphic sex does not equal a good movie

It seems these "women" think they are offering something unique to the world by having sex on film. Go do porn, you will get more work.

Michael Gibbons (Director of Digital Platforms) Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York would disagree with you. This movie is on his best films of 2014 list.

reply

SO? That's his opinion. Being in his position doesn't validate his opinion. It's just his personal opinion.

I stand by mine. The only difference between me and him, is that most people with morals agree with me.

reply

That depends entirely on what morals you are using... Some people think being ashamed of your body or acting like seeing more of it is a disgrace is morally abhorrent.

It is true that it is just his opinion, but don't act like it is a black and white issue. Morals are a gray scale.

Coming from someone that thought Tranformers was good. I think the director from this movie should be proud.

You sound like an awful person

There isn't one single "graphic sex" scene in this movie, only two or three with nudity _ which is portrayed very naturally, in non exploitative ways. In the only scene with sex, we just see the top of a palm tree, while listening to the couple moaning off camera (a shot I didn't like, by the way).

I don't know what you meant by "women"; not only because of the quotes, but the plural, since only one young woman appears in the film in a relevant role. And she (Dandara de Morais) is a very fine actress.

It seems that you didn't even see the film.

reply

There was no graphic sex in the movie, just nudity, so not only is your post stupid, it's wrong.
