I think it was actually very different from most horror movies. Most of the time horror movies revolve around finding out how to keep the ghost from killing you but this out was about find out how to live with being haunted.
shareI dunno, but the main character seemed autistic or something from the get-go - yet none of the characters never questioned his odd behavior.
So, I dunno if the actor was so crappy and couldn't act being 'normal' or the story simply failed to mentioned some sort of mental/psychological defect in the main character (I realize that he has all sorts of phobias - so he wasn't normal - but then it's the response from other characters in the film that was odd - they should have seen his oddity and perhaps a bit of insanity in him and pointed it out right away and probably back away from trying to help him).
Then again.... I feel like this is some sort of an asylum movie - most of the characters in this film were acting odd - like it's some sort of a crappy play.
All in all, I really can't recommend anyone to watch this film.
