What was his family willing to do? Nothing?

His family blamed his son (and disowned him) for having to give up a DNA sample because of an arrest which led to the killer's (his father) identity. Can't these family members think rationally?

The other question is what was the family willing to do. Allow him to keep on killing?

Every third person who complains will be shot. Two people have complained already!

Well obviously they can't but as you can see from the documentary the faith in police is non existent so most likely the family members think too that it's a setup.

Didn't the son himself pretty much say that he didn't believe that his father was guilty either.

Seems that this family must be pretty evil too.
