Women Aren't People

The LAPD is dispicable for their lack of action on this case. It was so bad that is seemed like they were going out of their to NOT solve it. They didn't care about the black community or that black women were being killed. They also didn't care about the women being killed because they thought prostitutes (which some of them were) had no life value. At the same time, almost all the men interviewed in this documentary who knew Lonnie, are also dispacable. They partnered with him to take advantage of women who needed money. They all knew that he was torturing women, yet they talk about it like that's normal behavior. Maybe if any of them gave a *beep* Lonnie would've been caught a lot earlier. And what was most disturbing was the men in the street interviewed toward the end laughing about how women would be getting into the wrong van. Another example of men not viewing women as humans. Maybe if these victims were white people would've cared. And maybe if they were men people woulldve cared. The Heroes in this documentary are the women, Margaret and Pam. Margaret is a rock star when she grabs the mic at the press conference.
