Why do people support her? She's a con artist...

She's only using a touchy subject matter to gain attention and get people's financial backing for her own personal use. She isn't even a real gamer, she only began learning about the medium before she made her videos, she got inspired after attending a press conference about becoming a financial success.

Its so obvious - The many contradictions in her videos, the conflicting claims she makes, and her hypocrisy. She doesn't care about feminism all, or at least nowhere near the level she claims to. And what's this I've heard about her creating false accounts to bully herself to get others to feel sorry and back her up?

To add that she really doesn't play video games like she said she does.

She just started a new Kickstarter to raise money for a different set of five videos, and so far it's raised around 200,000 dollars. So it would seem that yes, she does still have supporters, none of whom seem to realize just how cheap it is to make YouTube videos when you clearly already have a camera and editing software, as she clearly does. I think it's more symbolic support than anything else.
