Marvel movies are so expensive on bluray

Why do they even release at the moment I have no money? For years, Best Buy even has their 5 year old Marvel movies at the same expensive price!

reply

Marvel = Disney.

Standard practice for their films.

I got it with bonus material on Amazon Prime streaming for 14 bucks
Hope this helps...

As I did with the first movie I'm collecting all Guardians of the Galaxy volumes digitally on iTunes!

reply

Cool!
They are worth owning.

Lassez Faire / Caveat Emptor.

Wait for Black Friday sales. I got Spiderman Homecoming for $8 in the last one, I think GotG2 was also $8 but I already had it.

I did for Captain America movies and was going to do the same with Spider-Man Homecoming but the Hurricane made my Best Buy take long to reopen!

Overpriced but worth it I guess. After all, the movies are part of the biggest studios and franchise.

Though I doubt it’s only a Disney thing. I’ve noticed new (and some older) movie releases on blu-ray are around $24.99 in most stores — $19.99 no longer seems to be the average price. Bottom line: prices keep going up!

And let’s not even talk about 4K releases. VERY worth it but damn son. It is what it is

I just completed my Thor trilogy on bluray combo pack and redeemed the digital copy on my library! After the first week Marvel movies will jack up the price to $30 unless there's another Marvel movie coming to theaters and Best Buy and Specs lower the prices!

Completed mine, too. It’s always best if you can get the new releases while they’re on sale (especially the 4K).
