Do we need a big budget SciFi action comedy to teach us family values?

Cause that was a definite overkill.
This one didn't get enough love as a child and this one needs to learn the difference between a biological father and his daddy... It could have just as well been a Disney movie channel flick with 5th echelon actors no one knows for 3% of the GotG budget.
