Blatant (and Poor Tatse) Cash in on Mass Murder

So this "film" is clearly inspired by the massacre in Aurora by James Holmes which left 24 people dead.

The links are so obvious it's appalling: (a) Aurora being the name of the town where the massacre occurred and the name of the theater in the film; (b) A theater is the setting for the massacre; (c) the Joker is the main villain in the Dark Night movie that was playing when the massacre occurred; and (d) The main character of the film - as depicted on the cover - has crazed red hair just like James Holmes.

This is such disgustingly poor taste to even try and make a (by the looks of it, POS crappy) "film" out of this tragedy. Everyone involved with this production should be ashamed of themselves. I'm not even American (and therefore affected by the tragedy) but it's just so stupid to cash in (in poor taste) on the mass death of human beings. Jesus wept.

trust me this movie will be irrevelent in 5,4,3,2...ops. already is.

100% Agree - As soon as I saw the plot and movie poster I could put two and two together.

Only thing I have to point out is it was the Dark Knight Rises playing in the actual theatre which did not have the Joker in it. But that's irrelevant.

Get over it and grow a pair.

Mate it was a *beep* massacre. "Get over 12 people being killed and 70 injured and some idiot thought they'd make a (crappy) film using it as inspiration". You're not right in the head mate.

reply

Ridiculously terrible movie anyways, as if everything you very accurately pointed out wasn't enough to make that abundantly clear prior to watching it.

Incoherent rubbish.
