Unless you want to leave out a year of the war you still need 5 eps.
Ep 1 - 1914
Ep 2 - 1915
Ep 3 - 1916
Ep 4 - 1917
Ep 5 - 1918

Pedantically, it was an armistice that was effective from November 11, 1918. It was not until the next year that the Treaty of Versailles was signed, and not until 1920 that it came into effect. It used to be not uncommon to refer to "the World War 1914-1919."

And soldiers'stories did not end on November 11, 1918. Many servicemen and women had to wait six months or more to be returned to civilian life, tensions continued in Europe, and bodies retrieved from the battlefields and reburied. The nearest to fighting that some British soldiers got to were riots at home, both in army camps and cities.

let's use the finger counting method here

year one, 1914
year two, 1915
year three, 1916
year four, 1917
year five, 1918

We count five years in which the war took place, not four

Correct, most old sources refer to the war being 1914-1919, we use 1918 now because that is when the fighting stopped but not when the war stopped. Although people who died in 1919 in the fighting in Russia are also considered war dead in many lists of war dead
