Countdown to Morgan Spurlock lawsuit

Tough to believe that Damon wasn't "inspired" by Supersize Me in some way grand or minute. I'm honestly surprised legal proceedings haven't begun yet; would be likewise astounding if Spurlock himself wasn't desperate for the cash. given his career trajectory in the proceeding years.

Lawsuit for what? It's a different subject.

I suspect you're under the misapprehension that "Supersize Me" invented the concept of a documentary film-maker or journalist exposing themselves to a product or phenomenon to show its effects. Not nearly the case. I'm sure it's inspired by its style, but not nearly enough for anyone to consider a lawsuit. That would be about the same as if Quentin Tarantino sued Guy Ritchie.

IMDb-boards would be less confusing if people would mark their signatures clearly.

Whilst I was also reminded of Supersize Me, gonzo journalism is nothing new. There was another film called Super High Me which is a much more direct ripoff.
