Baby Driver aka the prequel to Drive -REVIEW

SPOILERS FOR THIS FILM

-baby driver is a film about a young ryan gosling named baby
-who's even more autistic than current ryan gosling
-so this fucker is a getaway driver
-and he just cant stop listening to music
-always has his earphones in and doesn't pay attention
-just like any average zoomer
-and keven stacey employs this young boy
-through blackmail
-to do "things" for him
-kevin you old dog
-john ham is in it too
-john ham plays an absolute madman
-and his girlfriend is a generic latino
-jamie foxx is in it
-to the delight of absolutely no one
-and jamie foxx plays jamie foxx
-in an underwhelming performance
-so anyway the gimmick of this film
-is that there is constant music playing
-and some of the music is good
-but it doesn't really elevate it too much
-unlike guardians of the galaxy
-where the music is perfectly chosen
-and really enhances the film
-so at some point baby meets a girl in a cafe
-played by shelley from twin peaks
-but this time there is no leo to domestically abuse her
-though fans of domestic abuse need not be upset
-as baby's mother gets a rocky-esque montage of beatdowns from her husband
-so anyway at some point baby gets tired of being constantly metoo'd by pedo kevin spacey
-and rebels by killing the closest black guy he can find
-this is how jamie foxx dies
-and then some more shit happens
-and in the last 5 minutes
-baby ends up in prison
-but is out in a minute and a half
-so it really has no emotional resonance
-and its a bit racialist
-as if it was jamie foxx who got caught
-he'd be imprisoned till at least halfway through the sequel
-for his many felonies, misdemeanors and outstanding warrants
-thats he's accumulated throughout his life
-i assume
